He founded The Academy of Music and Art in Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island, where he imparts knowledge in art and music. With decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Michael has assisted thousands of students on their artistic journey. He is also a producer for Shaw Television, presenting the Art and History Show "Painting the Island with Michael Schutte".
